Map of our country demonstrated without the occupied Azerbaijani territories by Armenia.There is another interesting fact - if before the performance of other participants, for example, Georgia, map of the country hanging on the screen for 5 seconds, the map of Azerbaijan has appeared and disappeared in an instant. All other countries are no problems with cards not experienced.It remains unclear why the competition organizers allowed a political incident. We hope that the finale, which will be held on May 29, organizers of the "Eurovision 2010" will be carried out related work on the bugs and the map of Azerbaijan will be presented in proper form.На «Евровидении 2010» была продемонстрирована карта Азербайджана без территорий, оккупированных АрмениейВо втором полуфинале популярного международного конкурса «Евровидение 2010», который состоялся всего несколько часов назад, была допущена грубейшая ошибка в отношении Азербайджана.Вероятно, многие из нас следили за выступлениями исполнителей, и в особенности за выступлением нашей участницы Сафуры Ализаде. В начале выступления каждого исполнителя демонстрируются карта и флаг страны-участницы «Евровидения». Интересно, что в начале выступления нашей участницы можно заметить, что карта Азербайджана была продемонстрирована неправильно! Карта нашей страны демонстрировалась без оккупированных Арменией азербайджанских территорий.Интересен и другой факт – если перед выступлением других участниц, к примеру, Грузии, карта этой страны висела на экране на протяжении 5 секунд, карта Азербайджана появилась и исчезла в одно мгновение. Все остальные страны никаких проблем с картами не испытали.Остается непонятным, почему организаторы конкурса допустили такой политический казус. Надеемся, что до финала, который состоится 29 мая, организаторами «Евровидения 2010» будет проведена соответствующая работа над ошибками и карта Азербайджана будет представлена в правильном виде.

Safura Alizadeh Azerbaijani Səfurə Əlizadə; born 20 September 1992, Baku) is an Azerbaijani singer and saxophonist

Early life

Safura Alizadeh's father is a professional painter and her mother is a pianist and a fashion designer. Alizadeh began singing when she was very young and made her first stage appearance at age 6. In the course of her career, she sang in children's bands Sharg Ulduzlari and Bulbullar. Alizadeh took up violin lessons at the Baku Musical School No 2 but later also learned to play the piano and the saxophone. She became the winner of the national contest Yeni Ulduz (Season 8). Her favourite author is Stephenie Meyer, and her favourite book is the Twilight series. Safura expressed a wish to see Robert Pattinson in one of her music videos.

Safura's saxophone playing was praised by composer Farhad Badalbeyli, who described it as brilliant.


Eurovision 2010

On 2 March 2010, Alizadeh won the Azerbaijani national final decided by jury and will represent Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, to be held on 29 May 2010 in Oslo, Norway. She will perform at the contest the song "Drip Drop", written by Anders Bagge, Stefan Örn and Sandra Bjurman.Shortly after she performed on the concert in Ukraine and exchanged wishes with Ukrainian performer Vasyl Lazarovych.

The video for the song was directed by a well known film director Rupert Wainwright, and choreographed by JaQuel Knight, who worked with Beyoncé and Britney Spears. Knight will also design the choreography of Safura's stage performance in Oslo.

On 1 May 2010, Safura began her promotional tour, and visited Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and Sweden.

Before the start of Eurovision 2010, most bookmakers favor Safura, predicting that she will win the contest. However, others believe that she will have to compete with Lena Meyer-Landrut of Germany for the first place.

Safura's first album, titled It's My War, is scheduled for release on 18 June 2010.

Сафура Ализаде (азерб. Səfurə Əlizadə; 20 сентября 1992 года, Баку) — азербайджанская вокальная певица. Будет представлять Азербайджан на конкурсе песни «Евровидение-2010» с песней на английском языке «Drip Drop».


Биография

Сафура Ализаде родилась 20 сентября 1992 года в Баку. Отец певицы художник по профессии, а мать — пианистка и модельер. Сафура начала петь в 4 года, а в 6 лет впервые выступила на сцене, и с тех пор практически постоянно участвует в различных музыкальных конкурсах. Она является победительницей популярного в Азербайджане телевизионного музыкального проекта «Новая Звезда» (азерб. Yeni Ulduz). Пела в детских ансамблях «Шярг улдузлары» — Вагифа Герайзаде и «Бюльбюлляр» — Айбениз Ашумовой.

Она училась в трёх школах, начиная с хореографического училища, затем, с пятого класса — в средней школе № 164, а с восьмого в средней школе № 23. Музыкальную школу закончила по классу скрипки, но всегда мечтала освоить саксофон, что и сделала. Кроме скрипки и саксофона, играет также на пианино
